Stokke-It to Me, Baby!
I feel compelled to devote a few words to the new internet sensation that is Allison Stokke.
I was introduced to this young lady a few weeks about by my good friend Toph. It all started with him sending me a picture, as he usually does, accompanied by the comment that was somewhere along the lines of “Look how bodaciously hot this chick is.”
Now, Toph is a pretty self-respecting guy, so he wouldn’t actually use the word “bodaciously.” But, I like to jazz things up a little bit.
Anywho…we started to learn more and more about this young lady. And what did we come to find out?
Well, apparently she’s a very gifted athlete. A pole vaulter to be specific. She’s set all kinds of records in SoCal and recently accepted an offer to attend UC Berkeley, just a short jaunt across the bay from those of us here in San Francisco.

All of this, of course, prompted Toph and I to decide that season tickets to the Bears’ track and field season were a must.
But, then, our innocent and devoted love for Stokkes started to turn on us. Suddenly, everyone was in an uproar about how this magnificent young lady was being smeared, her reputation tarnished, by all the internet pedophiles and perverts out there. And we began to feel a little bit guilty.
Thankfully, things have come full-circle. Since I’m not photoshopping any of her pictures, nor am I going to do anything but appreciate her beauty and grace from afar, I feel perfectly validated in commenting simply that she is incredible.
I mean, COME ON!!!!!!!
If that isn’t one of the single most radiant and resplendent girls in the nation, I’ll eat my hat!
And to think that she’s intensely good at pole vaulting is just that much more of a bonus.
We here at According to Bob wish Allison all the best in the future and are totally at peace with simply devoting a few lines of sacred blogspace to appreciating the majesty of this young lass.
